BangKok & A Cocktail

So, I’m back again with a little gem to try…………..

One of my adventures that I took a few pictures of and wanted to share was when my cousin Sam and I went to Parc for a cocktail and to BangKok 96 located inside of The Detroit Shipping Company. You’ll hear about Sam A LOT and probably see him eventually because we spend a lot of time together. Sam is my right hand man, we travel together, eat together and NO one on earth can take my last nerve and twerk on it like he can. We always find something to keep us entertained; whether its nature walks and day drinking, having loud debates like a married couple or just being hungry and needing to get out of the house. This day was no different.

I’ve visited Parc before, and I’m pretty sure I’ll do a full blog review visit and post it soon. Parc has the perfect location; its literally in what I would consider to be the heart of Downtown on 800 Woodward Ave. Its right by the fountain and in the summer, they turn into the cutest beach area. There’s outdoor seating and the inside is also nice and gives a Lush brunch vibe annnnnnnd they have Happy Hour! So, you know I’m there.

I ordered a Fuzzy Bubbles. Our Bartender had very cute Pop Art nails and was very attentive and cool. My drink lived up to its name, it was bubbly and gave me what I needed. Here it is,

It’s something about this flower in a drink. It gets me every time. I automatically am impressed.

After having our drinks and Sam talking my head off, he said he had a taste for Bangkok 96. He has visited MANY times; for me it’d be my first time. He’s raggedy for not bringing me sooner.

The Detroit Shipping Company is located on 474 Peterboro Street. I think its pretty cool because its literally made out of shipping containers. Good Earth Stuff. They have a few restaurants and a bar in there also; BangKok 96 is located inside. This wasnt my first time going to The Detroit Shipping Company, but Im not sure BangKok 96 was there at the time, or maybe it was, and I just wasnt paying attention but nonethless I’ve figured it out. We both were hungry and wanted something filling, so we both got the Grilled Salmon and Shrimp Curry Bowl with Broccoli, I got medium Spice and it was GOOD! I wish I had a good picture, but when I tell you; it smelled so good and i was so hungry, it didnt last…………But, i made a quick video

We opted for the upstairs seating and that poor food didn’t stand a chance =(.

Me, at the Fountain in front of Parc

Sam snapped this of me, and you can probably tell, I wore my Teddy Glasses in Black this time. Click Here For Teddy Glasses. The weather was nice, and I’ll wear sandals as long as it’s warm, so my Ugg Fluffs were my option. I wore a Purse from Aldo and I couldn’t tell you where I got that 2 piece from, but yall know it’s not hard to find. It’s just a cool throw on outfit.

All in all, it was another successful, yet simple adventure and I can’t wait to go back. Let me know if you have been here before, or when you try it what you think. You can also suggest what other things you may like at Detroit Shipping Company or Parc too.

With Love and Twerkin on yo nerves,

The HFIC <3
